- Abstract
Teacher education system is a whole composed of many aspects of teacher education in accordance with its own order and internal connections, that is, the whole composed of many points, lines and aspects of teacher education. Therefore, teacher education system has its obvious complexity. The reconstruction of teacher education system in China is not only a problem of system and policy, but also a problem of theory and practice. The construction of an open, flexible and collaborative teacher education system that meets the requirements of the new era contains not only the logic of what should be, which is rich in theoretical connotation, and needs to understand and clarify many problems in theory, but also the practical logic of its concrete operation that needs to seek effective strategy in practice. It is our national conditions, “Chinese characteristics” and “Chinese experience” to establish an open, collaborative, interactive, modem teaeher education system with normal universities & eolleges as the main body, high-level comprehensive universities as participants, teacher development institutions as the links, and high-quality primary and secondary schools as practice bases. The main problems that arise in the construction of the teacher education system need to be rationally recognized. As the main body of the teaeher education system, normal universities and colleges should realize that teacher education is their own responsibility and mission, not only their characteristics and flags. High-level comprehensive universities need to effectively participate in teacher education by virtue of their own disciplinary advantages. Sinee teacher education is the national cause and the government * s responsibility, the reconstruction of the teacher education system must be guaranteed by strong polieies and systems.
