- Abstract
The article critiques Vladimir Nabokov's 1955 novel "Lolita" and its 1962 film adaptation directed by Stanley Kubrick. Topics discussed include the acts of social stealth, confession, and sexual abuse depicted in the novel, the suggestions offered by professor Linda Schlossberg regarding the narrative involving the titular character, and the rating earned by the film which may be attributed to its portrayal of child sexual abuse.
