- Abstract
The article discusses developments in the section 704 of the Telecommunication Act of 1996 (TCA) of the U.S. Section 332(c)(7) of the TCA places certain restrictions on the authority of local bodies to regulate the zoning of telecommunications service facilities. It discusses a supreme court case MetroPCS New York LLC v. City of Mount Vernon, wherein the plaintiff's application to install six stealth antennae on a rooftop was denied by the city.
