- Authors
SAND, PETER H.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the international unification of air laws in the U.S. It is considered as most advanced of uniform private law in the country in terms of international aviation. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has played an important role in bringing about these laws. It has brought unification at all levels including national, regional and international. The Uniform Aeronautical Liability Act was passed but was opposed by many aviation interests. It is concluded that more efforts are needed by international organizations for drafting these laws.
