- Abstract
In this article the author discusses legal and administrative aspects of the housing industry being used in the U.S. to control sub-standard housing. According to the author, the criteria for identifying inadequacies in the construction must focus on individual housing units, rather than on area. The author emphasizes on implementing a balance between government's administrative power on the housing and legal aspects of housing.
