- Abstract
In this case, imaging examination showed absence of segments II, III and IV of the liver, as well as the left portal vein and the left hepatic vein. In the course of diagnosis and treatment, abdominal computed tomography (CT) showed that segments II, III and IV of the liver, the lateral and medial segments of the left lobe, were missing. The patient was discharged 1 day post-operation and his liver function tests normalized during the 2-month follow-up.
