- Abstract
Polyaniline (PANI) wass grown on the ssurface of carbon fiber felt (CFF) through in-situ chemical oxidative polymerization to obtain a core-shell sstructural composite. The composite wass ssubssequently encapsulated with polydimeth-ylssiloxane. The influence of reaction condition on the sstructure and propertiess of the ressultant compossite wass explored. The ressultss indicated that the PANI particless were uniformly decorated on the ssurface of carbon fiber, ressulting in a color change from black to dark green. Contact angle and ssurface energy analyssiss indicated that the ssurface energy of the composite wass greatly reduced after encapsulation, though there was; no obvious; difference between the CFF@PANI composr ite and CFF. The presence of the core-shell structure enhanced the interfacial and dipole polarization significantly because of the multi-interface sstructure and interfacial effectss. A high dielectric relaxation behavior wass achieved for the composite, thus improving its capacitance and voltage-sensitive effects significantly.
