- Abstract
The article presents the book "New Humanism for the Digital Era: A Proposal from Cervantes and Other Classics" by Antonio Barnés Vázquez. The author, a professor of Hispanic Literatures and Bibliography at the Complutense University of Madrid, addresses relevant topics such as freedom, authority, and justice from a humanistic perspective and through excerpts from classical works. The book offers a dialogue between the past and the present, showing how the dilemmas of human existence repeat throughout history. Notable references include Sophocles' Antigone, Seneca, Cicero, Shakespeare's Hamlet, and Miguel de Cervantes.
