- Abstract
The article elaborates the methodological obstacles that may affect the generation and interpretation of clinical outcome assessments (COA) data in brain tumor patients. Topics discussed include the dilemma of whether quantity and quality of life should be analyzed separately, the factors to consider in selecting COA, the issue of whether the missing data influence results and the difference of patient-centered outcome measures in brain metastases from primary brain tumors.
