- Abstract
This study aimed at determines the level of AL-Quds Open University Students' awareness to the global culture concept in light of variables: Gender, specialization, the level of the school year, academic achievement, and place of residence. For this purpose a test was prepared and applied to estimate the global culture concept on a sample of students enrolled to study in Tulkarm Education region which consisted at (225) males and females students. After analyzing the data, results showed that the overall level of perception AL-Quds Open University Students to the concept global culture was high, and the most important elements that have been exposed by members of the study, consisting of global culture concept were as follows: Updated knowledge, development in the areas of information technology, digital computer, e-learning, distance learning, and understanding the importance of economic development in the world. The results also indicated that there were statistical differences in the level of awareness of function AL-Quds Open University Students to the nature of global culture concept due to the variables: The school year, and level of academic achievement in favor of high level of students from the third and fourth year, and students from the high level of achievement. While the results showed in the other hand, there was no statistical differences in the level of awareness of function Al-Quds Open University students to the nature of global culture due to variables: Gender, specialization and residence.
