- Abstract
The article presents a study on the restoration site of Newmont Boddington Gold (NBG), a previous mining area in Western Australia, as food resources for black-cockatoos. The study examines the feeding ecology of Carnaby's Black-Cockatoos (CBC), Baudin's Black Cockatoos (BBC), and Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoos (FRTBC) from the Jarrah-Marri forest through NBG. Moreover, it shows that the mine-site restoration area will be able to provide food resources for black-cockatoos within eight years.
