Pregnancy and Abortion Increase Among Single Women in Great Britain.

- Abstract
The article presents information on increase in pregnancy and abortion among single women in Great Britain. A study conducted by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists an increase in the rate of abortions in England and Wales, by 66% has been witnessed. However, no increase in the proportion of married or single women opting to terminate pregnancy has been witnessed. Data regarding Abortion trends, trends in pregnancy, and factors affecting pregnancy is revealed. According to a study, half of a group of 1,020 women who were obtaining legal abortions had not been using a contraceptive method; 25% had no recent experience of contraceptive use.
