- Abstract
FEDESI is a more granular scale, so it is possible that performing it before SCORFAD may have allowed for greater accuracy in the global SCORFAD assessment. The mean score for alopecia was significantly greater than all other lesion types in both FEDESI (mean 14.9, I P i < 0.05) and SCORFAD (mean 2.9, I P i < 0.05). The prevalence of alopecia as a clinical lesion is consistent with the findings of the SCORFAD validation study.7 The high scores for alopecia may be related to the distribution of lesions.
