- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the changes in palliative care due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Also cited are the impacts of the disease to all facets of everyday life like grocery shopping, household cleaning, and celebrations, the need to provide training in primary palliative care skills to equip clinicians in critical care medicine and emergency medicine, and the use of virtual visits to support families amidst restrictions on patient visits.
