Alfred Station.
Abstract
The article reports on the bird banding at the Alfred Station in Allegany County, New York from July 7 to November 12, 2009. A total of 78 birds from 23 species were banded, but two ruby-throated hummingbirds were captured and released unbanded. Hatchling-year percentage for the all banded birds was 64.3 percent and the most common species were slate-colored junco, black-capped chickadee and American goldfinch.
