The article focuses on the bird banding activities in Jekyll Island Banding Station (JIBS) located at Jekyll Island, Georgia. It states that the station had banded different types of bird species for its second year including the new specie Bell's Vireo. It adds that the station had banded 57 percent of Western Palm Warblers and Common Yellowthroats birds. It mentions other types of birds banded in the station including Painted Buntings, American Redstarts and Black-throated Blue Warblers.
