A biography of clinical scientist Charles Scriver is presented. He is the son of well-known McGill University physicians. He received his bachelor's degree at McGill University, followed by training in pediatrics in McGill and Harvard, and human metabolism in the University of London. During the beginning of his career, Scriver as a major advocate for the introduction of vitamin D to milk in Quebec.
