- Abstract
A case study of 51-year-old man is presented with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure in the setting of SARS-CoV-2 infection requiring mechanical ventilation. Topics include examines a bronchoalveolar lavage was performed on the 3rd postadmission day and considered ThinPrep of the BAL showed numerous scattered large atypical lymphoid cells with eccentric nuclei, vesicular chromatin and prominent nucleoli as well as scattered mature plasmacytoid lymphocytes and plasma cells.
