- Abstract
In this paper, Alex and Burkard measured the dielectric constant of STO down to very low temperatures to find the polar instability of STO that was expected from its soft transverse optic mode behavior. Remembering K. Alex Müller K. Alex Müller, IBM Fellow, Professor of Physics at the University of Zurich, Nobel prize winner of physics 1987, born on April 20, 1927, in Basel, Switzerland, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023, at the age of 95 in Zollikerberg, Switzerland.
