- Abstract
The article discusses the relationships between time and patent disclosures under American law, and it mentions the obviousness and prior art patent law doctrines, as well as hindsight bias and patent applications in the U.S. Patent filing dates and the scope of a patent are examined, along with the time needed to assess patent novelty. Non-obviousness and the post-filing of affidavits are examined, as well as testimony and reliance evidence under American patent law.
