- Abstract
The Akers site (34LF32), excavated in 1941 by the WPA in Leflore County in southeastern Oklahoma is a burial midden with a large Fourche Maline component. This site contains several ceramic burial vessels and other Caddo grave goods. This paper represents a preliminary analysis focusing on the ceramic vessels and a general overview of the other associated artifacts from this large site with many burials.
