- Abstract
The article presents an exploration into the Hauser families of the 18th-century Mennonite community in southeastern Pennsylvania. An introductory overview is given describing the research methodology used by the author and the significance of the Hauser family in Pennsylvania history. Family members profiled include Johann Martin Hausser, an immigrant who arrived in 1749, Elizabeth Houser and Samuel Good, a couple who owned a homestead farm in 1801, and the settler Johann Conradt Hauser who also arrived in 1749. Genealogical charts mapping their ancestries are also included.
