In the article, the author discusses how adversity can serve as challenge for law schools and the legal professions to ensure that the rule of law will prevail around the world. Also cited are how law teachers, scholars and lawyers can contribute to the new world of law in the 21st century to improve the well-being of society, and the lessons learned from catastrophes like hurricanes, terrorist attacks, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
