- Abstract
The article focuses on human parvovirus 4 (PARV4). It informs that the PARV4 is distinct from other known parvoviruses infecting both humans and animals. It reports that the parvovirus has been identified in the plasma of a patient with symptoms of acute virus infection. It states that although its transmission via blood and plasma derived products is not formally demonstrated by the description of a case of donor to recipient transmissions, it is probable.
