- Abstract
An essay is presented on on the development and design of libraries. The author introduces a concept called the Third Space, that challenges previous notions about the management of shared public places. Additional topics include an analysis of critical conceptions of space, how mobility and human migration have impacted the environments we inhabit, and the further development of libraries as effective places of learning.
