- Abstract
The article discusses a study that examines the impact of shift and break timing on the quantity and quality of sleep of fly-in-fly-out workers in Australia that are employed in remote areas and reach at work site by air route. Topics discussed include use of wrist activity monitoring devices among train drivers to assess sleep, meal and apartment facility for drivers including meal, bed and basic amenities and assessment of sleep wake patterns.
