- Abstract
The article evaluates the number of occupational mortalities among underground coal mine workers through hierarchical loglinear models. It adds that despite all the precautions, underground coal mining is one of the dangerous industries resulting in fatal occupational accidents. It explores that the mostly affected job group by the fatality accidents was the production workers who are mostly exposed to roof collapses and methane explosions.
