- Abstract
The article informs about the evidences of French prose and poetic "Mélusine" romances, located in Bodleian Library to enhance understanding of early-modern book production and reception. Topics include the difference in physical features of paper fragments from the Middle English edition of "Melusyne" due to cropping and exigencies of binding, the woodcuts of fragments made by German printer Wynkyn de Worde, the interpretation of illustration in the fragments by author Edward Hodnett.
