Native American Arts Inc. vs. Doll Market Inc.
- Abstract
The article discusses the case of Native American Arts Inc. v. Doll Market Inc., 2007 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 5785 (D.Ct. N.D., January 25, 2007). The U.S. District Court dismissed some parts of Native American Arts' complaint against the Doll Market, but denied a motion to dismiss all of the complaint. Native American Arts is owned by the Ho-Chunk Nation, which alleges that Doll Market was advertising and selling goods in a manner that falsely suggested that they were North American Indian products.
