The article presents a research where dietary S-Allyl-L-cysteine (SAC) was found to reduce mortality with lesser incidence of stroke and behavioral changes in stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats. The anti-stroke effect of the dietary (SAC) was demonstrated in the stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats.
