CONNECTING WITH THE BOSS: LISTENING AS A PERSON AND BECOMING THE LAWYER I OUGHT TO BE.
- Authors
Grimm, Bernard
- Abstract
The article presents a speech by legal commentator Bernard Grimm, delivered at the "Widener Law Journal" Symposium titled "The Lawyer As Poet Advocate: Bruce Springsteen and the American Poet," held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on February 24, 2005. He cited that in rock singer Bruce Springsteen's song "Thunder Road," he leaves it to the listener to define winning. He asserted that to be a public defender is not to be a guarantor of justice. He emphasized that Springsteen's music and message are important to him.
