- Abstract
The article presents a speech by U.S. Honorable Justice J. Michael Eakin, delivered at the "Widener Law Journal" Symposium titled "The Lawyer As Poet Advocate: Bruce Springsteen and the American Poet," held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on February 24, 2005. He talked about rock musician Bruce Springsteen as an advocate. He advised lawyers to do something different if they are dissatisfied with what they are doing. He emphasized that there are common ways that lawyers can use when presenting themselves in court.
