- Abstract
Chapter 10 of the Summer 2013 issue of the "Career Planning and Adult Development Journal" is presented. This chapter describes the role of school counselors in helping students prepare for the competitive workplace within STEM fields. A case study is presented about providing STEM-Centric academic and post-secondary planning. The use of the Harrington-O'Shea Career Decision Making (CDM) to guide STEM-Centric academic and post-secondary planning is noted.
