- Title
On the Disposal of Page Proofs and Manuscripts.
- Authors
Linzer, Elliott
- Abstract
The article presents the author's view regarding the importance of page proofs and manuscripts that an indexer has worked on. He says that the pages of a book that every indexer is working should be regarded as confidential materials. The author points out on the implicit obligation of an indexer to keep these materials confidential which ends when the book is in print. Thus, confidentiality on proprietary material or on a book that underwent extensive changes does not ends with printing.
