- Abstract
Subfraction 2-3 (3.1 g) was subjected to silica gel chromatography, eluted with CH SB 2 sb Cl SB 2 sb -MeOH (100:1), and enriched gradually with MeOH to obtain five subfractions (2-3-1-2-3-5). Importantly, the IC SB 50 sb values (Table 2) of compound B 8 b (crisimaritin) to HCT116 cells (3.1 M) or SW480 cells (6.8 M) were better than the clinically used drug 5-Fu to HCT116 cells (22.2 M) or SW480 cells (7.8 M). To assess the antitumor activity of flavonoids of I Morus alba i L. against human colorectal cancer, HCT116 cells or SW480 cells were incubated with different concentrations of compounds B 1-8 b , 5-flurouracil (5-FU) or PBS.
