- Abstract
The experiment was to investigate the effect of feeding Chlorella pyrenoidos and Haematococcus pluvialis on growth performance, routine body composition and physiological and biochemical parameters of juvenile Eriocheir sinensis. A total of 108 juvenile eriocheir sinensis with the body weight of (7.56±0.03) g were randomly divided into three groups, with three replicates in each group and 12 crabs in each replicate. Crabs in T1 group were fed with basal diet, and crabs in T2 group and T3 group were fed with basal diet + 15% C. pyrenoidos and H. pluvialis, respectively. The experiment lasted for 42 d. The results showed that compared with T1 group, the weight gain rate and specific growth rate of crab in T2 group and T3 group were significantly increased (P<0.05). The SOD, GSH-Px, ACP and AKP in T2 group were 36.00%, 34.82%, 35.63% and 87.30% higher than those of T1 group (P<0.05), respectively. GSH-Px and AKP in T3 group were increased by 39.41% and 80.42% compared with T1 group (P<0.05). The crude protein in T2 group and T3 group were increased by 19.86% and 23.35% than those in control group (P<0.05), but the crude fat in T2 group was decreased by 14.26% (P<0.05). In terms of amino acids content, the modes were as T2 >T3> T1, and the EAA/TAA in T2 group and T3 group were 41.31% and 41.43% higher than those of T1 group (P<0.05). The study indicates that supplementation of C. pyrenoidos and H. pluvialis in diet can improve the growth indexes, antioxidant capacity and body composition of Eriocheir sinensis. Considering all indicators together, the effect of C. pyrenoidos is better.
