- Authors
Albertsen, Peter C.
- Abstract
The article discusses the causes in the development of prostate cancer among men. Trichomonas vaginalis infection is inferred to be as a possible environmental factor in the said disease. It also mentions that one of the most dynamic factors in the development of prostate cancer is the testing for prostate-specific antigen (PSA). The study of Stark et al evaluates potential effect of a specific variable T. vaginalis infection on prostate cancer with the help of "Physician's Health Study."
