- Abstract
In order to explore the suitability of cotton bast fiber blended woven fabrics in summer clothes, commercially available cotton/ramie woven fabrics, cotton/flax woven fabrics, cotton/hemp woven fabrics with different blending ratios were used as research objects, the thermal and humidity comfort indicators such as air permeability, moisture permeability, moisture conductivity and warmth retention were objectively tested. Tactile comfort indicators such as prickling and adhesive sensation were subjectively evaluated by semantic difference method. Then the comfort indicators were analyzed and compared based on structural parameters of the fabric. Finally, suitability of the fabric was comprehensively judged by improved entropy weight TOPSIS method. The results showed that the cotton bast fiber blended fabric was more suitable for making summer clothes, comprehensive properties of the fabric containing ramie fiber were better than that of the fabric containing hemp and flax. The weight of air permeability was the largest in the comprehensive evaluation of comfort. It is considered that the using entropy weight TOPSIS method can effectively optimize the fabric varieties with excellent comprehensive properties, which has certain guiding and reference value for the suitability evaluation and purchase of similar clothing fabrics.
