Introduction: The study was conducted to determine the levels of patient satisfaction with the nursing services in internal and surgical science clinics of a university hospital and the factors affecting this situation. Methods: The sample of this descriptive study comprised 166 volunteer patients who were hospitalized in the internal and surgical science clinics of a university hospital, and who were willing to participate in study, were able to communicate, were 18 years or older, and had at least three days of experience in clinics. For data collection, a 34-item, Likert-type "Scale of the Patients' Satisfaction with Nursing Services (SPSNS)" and a 10-question information form containing descriptive characteristics of the patients Demir and Eşer were given. Data were assessed with percentage distribution, t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis one-way variance analysis. Results: The mean score of the patients in the scale was 134.38 (±24.05). When the SPSNS score average was compared with the age groups of the patients, the difference in education level, the clinics, the length of hospitalization, the previous hospitalization status were found to be significant (p<0.05). When the SPSNS score average was compared with gender and marital status, the difference was not found to be significant (p>0.05). Conclusion: Inpatients were found to be highly satisfied in terms of nursing care.
