- Abstract
The article explores the genomic landscape of monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis (MBL) and clonal evolution over time. A longitudinal analysis in a cohort of MBL cases is performed by whole-exome sequencing. Mutations in one or more driver genes are noted which confirm the existence of genetic subclones in a subset of MBL cases. Temporal succession of genetic events is also found in the pathogenesis of MBL and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
