- Abstract
The authors discuss aspects of clinical examinations that focus on the use of point of care ultrasonography (POC-US) in the management of haemophilia. They refer to haemophilia-specific US protocols for the assessment of disease activity and/or haemophilic arthropathy. However, the authors agree that only trained health care professionals to perform POC-US can properly evaluate a specific organ, pathology, and procedure within the area of expertise.
