- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 36-year-old woman who presented with right lateral midfoot and rear foot pain exacerbated by running. She had a history of recurring stress fractures of the midfoot; computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a unicameral bone cyst with a pseudo-fracture. Surgical intervention was performed, the patient was immobilized for 2 weeks; intermittent ice, compression, elevation, were administered after which the patient recovered.
