- Abstract
This article presents a case study of a 30-year-old woman who presented with multiple large annular and semi-annular erythema on her trunk. She also reported previous episodes of oral erosions that healed after treatment with systemic glucocorticoids. The patient had no remarkable inciting factors or other symptoms, and laboratory tests were negative for various infections and autoimmune diseases. The histopathology revealed interface dermatitis, confirming the diagnosis of erythema multiforme (EM). The article discusses the clinical manifestations, differential diagnoses, histopathology, etiology, and management of EM. The patient's cutaneous lesions resolved with treatment.
