- Abstract
This article discusses a case of imiquimod-induced extensive plaque psoriasis (PSO). Imiquimod is a medication used to treat certain skin conditions, but it can also cause adverse reactions, including the development of psoriasis. The article describes a 70-year-old male who developed psoriasis after using imiquimod cream on his face. The psoriasis quickly spread to other areas of his body and required treatment with methotrexate and prednisone. The article emphasizes the importance of considering imiquimod as a potential cause of psoriasis and highlights the need for a thorough medical history and histopathological examination for accurate diagnosis and management.
