- Abstract
Annegret Bollée, a renowned German creolistics expert, passed away on August 20, 2021, in Bamberg. She was one of the first women in West German Romance studies to receive a professorship and had an impressive academic career. Bollée extensively studied the creole language in the Seychelles and was internationally recognized in the creolistics scientific community. She made significant contributions to the development of Romance studies at the University of Bamberg and was a respected mentor for students.
