- Abstract
The main objective of the research is to determine the effect of transformational leadership characteristics and behaviors on motivation of team members. The questionnarie used in the study was applied to 410 women entrepreneurs (313 non-administrator group members, 97 administrator group members) working in the cosmetics industry in Aegean Region between the dates of 2013, June and 2013, September. Generally, it was determined that tendencies of "being visionary" and "being a model" within the context of transformational leadership will increase motivation of team members. In addition to this, that there were no differences between tendencies of "being visionary" and "being a model" within the context of two groups was found. Consequently, a strong positive correlation between two tendencies was stated.
