- Abstract
The article presents case studies on the hypokalaemia-induced rhabdomyolysis in treating patients of post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL) with high-dose ambisome in Bangladesh. Details on the patients medical record and treatments of rhabdomyolysis is discussed. It also highlights the importance for the introduction of safe and well-known drug use which requires strict safety monitoring for unexpected drug side effects.
