- Authors
O'Loughlin, Thomas
- Abstract
The article discusses a passage from De uiris illustribus, the fourth-century Christian treatise that is lumped together as apocrypha. According to the article, the passage addresses the issue of a post-resurrection meal of Jesus Christ and it suggests that a more embracing notion of sacramentality of Christians is needed. It states that the various traditions about post-resurrection meals of Jesus with his followers could explain the significance they were attaching to their practices.
