- Abstract
The current short paper is a review of the emerging novel field of quantum-like modelling in decision theory and social sciences at large. The very discipline extends some philosophical and mathematical frameworks widely used in the quantum science to decision theory, the main objective being to overcome some deep limitations of standard decision theory framework, or neoclassical economics or financial modelling frameworks. Such traditional frameworks are based on classical probability theory or Kolmogorovian measure theory, whereas quantum-like framework is based on non-Boolean logic expressed in the language of Hilbert space modelling and operator algebras. The paper also discusses the applications of such emergent frameworks in modelling crises for example the ongoing Pandemic, which is certainly the major focus of academia as well as business world.
