- Abstract
We have synthesized 1.5 micron thick superconducting --- (TBCCO) films from ion-beam sputtered ---precursors on yttria stabilized zirconia flexible substrates. The films have been characterized before and after thallium post-deposition annealing. Our initial data demonstrates that high quality films are produced by heat-treatment in a two-stage annealing. We show from bending experiments that mechanical strain in the films has little effect on the critical current density up to fracture.
